The shot above is from the Think Tank Gallery last night as it prepares for opening night as part of the LA Art Walk which happens to be TONIGHT… if you haven’t seen me post about it numerous times already. ;)
There was a great energy in the gallery last night as everything started to come into place as walls were painted, measurements where made, frames were cleaned and photographs where starting to be hung.
Seeing the photographs first hand as they were getting prepared one thing was clear, the LAPD was painted in the most positive of artistic light.
Most importantly is that everyone there last night was very helpful and were all on the same page about making this opening as awesome as it should be.
If you are in the LA area do yourself a favor and come out to support our art. Chances are there will be police officers there as well to see the exhibit. This could be a start of conversations about the good and the bad we’ve all experienced and quite possibly for both sides to come to understand that at the root of it all we’re just human.
